This past weekend, I flew back home to attend the wedding of TV.Poon('94). It was a nice wedding in NYC. On top of the great wedding environment, I also got a chance to catch up with a bunch of former THS folks.
Well, first I guess there's T.Poon who is now married and will be continuing his anesthesiology residency at Stanford. I'll get to pester him from only 20 minutes away for the next 3-4 years at least. =)
I also talked to S.Cavilla ('94) and his brother D.Cavilla ('91). They're still in Bergen County, and both working under DC's landscaping and construction company. They've been making Bergen County better for 15 years. I also met D.Cavilla's wife and 2 twin boys. I also caught up with Mr C, their pops who I hadn't seen in oh, 15 years. It's good to see that 15 years hasn't done anything to his vigor or humor.
For a brief little bit, I chatted with Phyllis L. ('93. ok, I broke my convention...i figured there was no way you'd identify her without her first name...and actually, L may no longer be the start of her last name). She was a year older than me. I had heard some news about her through the years through the chinese network. She's married, has 2 daughters, and lives in Tenafly. Though, rumor has it, she may be moving to Minnesota soon. Wow, now that's a jump.
I also had a nice conversation with D. Sack ('94). All these class of '94 people, btw, I've known since 2nd grade (that's when I moved to Tenafly). Pretty cool. I hadn't seen her (or the Cavillas) since high school. I didn't see her before she was introduced, but I'm sure I would have recognized her right away. Some people change a lot over 13 years (gain some pounds, add some wrinkles, gray some hair), but time has not seemed to affect her much at all. In fact, she looked quite lovely (now how do I say that without making it sound the wrong way?) She's back in Tenafly, renting away and architect-ing tomorrow's commercial buildings.
That's about it from the Tenafly scene. I guess I also did have a phone conversation with J. Bernstein ('94) regarding fantasy baseball, and our down to the wire playoff matchup, but I'll save that for another blog. =). Oh yeah, he's in Alabama now with wife Julia and son Nate.

Introduction
Heh heh, another blog time.
I had a pretty good weekend running into old friends and classmates and it was really fun exchanging tales of years gone by. It was noted that I seemed to have kept in contact with a lot of Tenafly folk. I guess that's true. And in an effort to share my experiences, I figured I'd start a blog that people could come to and read about people from yesteryear.
We'll see how it goes...hopefully it will be a more interesting read than some of my other blogs. =)
To give some anonymity, I'll maybe go with a first initial last name convention. If anyone mentioned on here does not want to be on here, just let me know.
